The 0.5.x series is not compatible with previous (0.4.x) versions: the table schemas, the parser are different, so I recommend to install the new 0.5.x version from scratch, including the training.

The 0.5.x series is derived from the piler project. It was trimmed down, then added the antispam specific features.

The most important changes since the previous version:

• new stable version supports only mysql (and its derivatives, eg. percona-mysql, mariadb)
• the gui features sphinx search
• clapf has become a preforking daemon
• the parser produces utf-8 encoded tokens
• spamdrop is only for testing and training a message, not to be used together with an LDA, eg. maildrop.
